Star Wars ROTJ Test

I took it upon myself to do a composting experiment with older movies such as Star Wars and Star Trek. The purpose is to see if the special effects could be updated with todays technology without using an CGI effects and the only computer elements being the film grain and photo-filters. I was always bugged by the obvious CGI used to try and "enhance" the original Star Wars Trilogy.
Why not just re-composite the old F/X footage digitally and use existing models to add scenes the old way?

It differs slightly from the original for artistic and technical reasons. Endor is much more clouldy, the Tie-Fighter closest to the screen is angled differently and the Star Destroyer isn't so sideways towards the Death Star. I've also added motion blur to the Tie-Fighters along with color correction based on the original models.
